Why NJNYTC? A few reasons- Firstly, if you get the opportunity to get coached by Gag, you take it! The culture he fosters is amazing and is a huge part of our success. Secondly, I was drawn to this club because of the camaraderie I saw between each of the athletes. Thirdly, New Jersey is the best state in the country followed closely by New York so I guess you can say it’s all in the name.
Greatest Strength: My greatest strength would have to be having fun with the sport. From there I derive almost everything: my competitiveness, my toughness, my desire to push myself, my want to win, all of that kind of stuff, because it’s fun to me.
Greatest Weakness: Pollen...and tempos.
Favorite Gags Quote: “Hey, way to jog kid!!”
Role Model: Both my parents. They’re good, hard working people that have taught me a lot. I’m very thankful for all they do and have done for me.
Hobbies: Playing guitar, going to concerts, watching movies I’ve most likely already seen before, and reading
Running Idiosyncrasy: I drink coffee on race day and only on race day.
One Run With Anyone: Steve Prefontaine. Or Michael Scott. Both have run a mean 5K.
