Why NJNYTC? Moving up to the 800 is all new to me and Gags was one of the few willing to take a chance on me having never raced a competitive 800 at the elite level. He believed in me, and with his background, I had no doubt he'd know how to convert me from a quarter miler to a half miler. On top of that, having a stud core of guys to train with in this club is what helps carry me through the tough days like those miserable tempo runs.

Greatest Strength: I'd say my biggest strength is my competitiveness. If it comes down to the final meters in a race, you better believe I'll find some extra gear no matter how tired I am to get the win.

Greatest Weakness: On the flip side I'd say my confidence is my weakest part as an athlete. Sometimes you find yourself already beat before the gun goes off and that's one thing I am trying to fix by joining NJNYTC. This group does a great job empowering and motivating you mentally.

Favorite Gags Quote: In reference to recovery days: "Make sure you communicate with the birds." Meaning take it easy today!!

Role Model: Alberto Juantorena. Otherwise known as the G.O.A.T. Only man to win the 400 and 800 in the same Olympic Games.

Hobbies: I am an avid movie goer and the last two years I've watched every Oscar nominated best picture movie. I plan on continuing that tradition.

Running Idiosyncrasy: I naturally give a thumbs up when I'm running. I have to consciously try not to do it.

One Run With Anyone: I'd love to go running with Louis Zamperini. I read Unbroken in high school and have been motivated by his story ever since. Talk about a guy that never gives up!
