Why NJNYTC? I was college teammates with the former assistant coach, Eric Schaffer, and he recruited me in 2013.  I had run 4:00.4 in the mile, and being so close to breaking that barrier I wanted to give running a shot outside of college. Coach Gags has propelled me to a level I didn't think was possible.

Greatest Strength: The ability to stay calm before/during races. This keeps my heart rate at a lower level allowing me to conserve energy to have a stronger kick at the end and I like to think it helps calm my teammates as well. We always joke to stay relaxed.

Greatest Weakness: Unfortunately, staying calm can also become a weakness because I get too comfortable to really hurt.

Favorite Gags Quote: "Thaaat a Babyyyy!"

Role Model: My Old Man. I've always looked up to my dad through the roughest times and the best.

Hobbies: I now coach at the Masters School in Dobbs Ferry. I've been coaching for a year now and love it. I started with middle school and then I coached XC at Stockton University and now at the Masters School. I love it.

Running Idiosyncrasy: I am constantly tallying my mileage for the day down to the meter.

One Run With Anyone: Marty Liquori. He’s the fastest miler to ever come out of New Jersey with a 3:52.2.
