Why NJNYTC? I enjoyed running in Oregon, but wanted to train on the east coast near my family and girlfriend. My grandparents are New Yorkers so my roots are in this area, as well. Finally, I knew the legendary Coach Gags and Tommy Nohilly from my time running at Columbia and knew he was building a great training group. After convincing a few people to join, such as Kyle Merber and Donn Cabral, I knew it was going to be a good fit. Best decision I have ever made.
Greatest Strength: I am very tough and hardworking and talented.
Greatest Weakness: I care too much. That and I have a pretty low aerobic capacity. However, my aforementioned toughness gets me through most things.
Favorite Gags Quote: “All you need is this (points to his head) and this (points to his heart).”
Role Model: My dad
Hobbies: Dancing, reading, playing with my friends, thinking about names for a dog that I don’t have yet, and doing crossword puzzles.
Running Idiosyncrasy: Checking my watch a lot. I’m a curious guy.
One Run with Anyone: Everyone is writing actual historical figures who obviously could not keep up on a run. I’m going to keep things practical and say Luke Wilson, brother of Owen Wilson. He apparently ran a solid 800 in high school and I bet he is a pretty cool guy.
