Head Coach Francis X. Gagliano
Coach Gags' has coached every level of track and field, from high school athletes to Olympic qualifiers.
He began coaching at Roselle Catholic in NJ, later became director of Track and Field at Rutgers University,
moved onto become head coach and eventually Director of Track and Field at Georgetown University, founder of
the Washington DC based Reebok Enclave elite professional track and field team, founder of the Nike Farm Team
in Palo Alto, CA and later became the 1st coach in the resurgence of the Oregon Track Club, the most dominant
middle distance club in USA Track and Field. At Georgetown Coach Gagliano produced 140 All-America performers,
five Olympians, seven individual national champions, and 23 BIG EAST championship teams. Since coaching professionals
exclusively, Coach Gags' has trained countless numbers of athletes to USATF Nationals Finals, World Championship teams,
World Championship finals, Olympic Teams and Olympic Finals. Coach Gagliano has brought his wealth of talent and
knowledge back home to the NY/NJ area where he will undoubtedly continue his tradition of excellence with his newest
venture, the NJ*NY Track Club.

Assistant Coach Mike Mulqueen
Coach Mulqueen joins the NJ-NY Track Club as an assistant while currently serving as the Director of the Men's Cross
Country and Track and Field programs at Rutgers University. A five-time BIG EAST Coach of the Year and four-time NCAA
District Coach of the Year, Coach Mulqueen is in his 32nd season on the Rutgers track and field coaching staff, and his
28th as head coach of the men's track & field and cross country programs. Under Mulqueen's guidance, Rutgers has had
20 All-Americans, 178 Metropolitan Champions, 43 IC4A Champions, 298 All-East selections, five Junior National Champions,
67 BIG EAST Champions and 10 national sports festival participants. His athletes have set 63 school records.
Assistant Coach & Team Therapist Tom Nohilly
Coach Nohilly joins the NJ-NY Track Club as team therapist with a wealth of knowledge in the sport of track and field having been
a World Championship team member and one of the U.S.'s premier steeplechase runners in the 90's. Tom provides the athletes with flexibility,
strength and neuromuscular therapy. Nohilly trained at the Wharton Performance Center in NYC and has worked with some of track and field's
most outstanding and accomplished athletes. Tom currently serves as director of CitiTrack Incorporated, was a member of the NYC Armory
Foundation and also served as a member of the Athletes Advisory Committee for USATF.
Assistant Coach, Strength and Conditioning Coach: Rich Agnello
Rich joins the staff as the team’s strength & conditioning coach, responsible for the team’s functional strength training program. He competed successfully while a team captain for St. Joseph’s University where he was a conference champion in the indoor mile, and an All-East selection in cross-country. Rich owns and operates Next Level Sports & Fitness Training in Matawan, and is an experienced track coach whose athletes have excelled in both the sprints and distance events. Rich is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with the National Strength & Conditioning Association, and holds a Level 2 Track Coach certification with USATF.

Assistant Coach: Eric Schaffer
A New Jersey native, Eric Schaffer was born in New Brunswick, and ran for Wall High School and Monmouth University. He graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Health Studies in the classroom, and All-NEC, All-East IC4A recognition on the track. Eric joined the group in the fall of 2011 as an assistant coach under Frank Gagliano. He is currently pursuing Masters in Sports Administration & Coaching at Montclair State University, and is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
Assistant Coach: Julio German
A native of the Dominican Republic, who was raised in Sleepy Hollow, NY, where he was a two time NY State Champion in Cross Country in high school. Assistant coach German brings a wealth of knowledge that he has gained from coaching athletes from the high school level to the professional level in cycling, triathlons, as well as running. Coach German attended Indiana University. He currently has his own personal training business specializing in endurance sports. He currently coaches athletes of all levels, including those that have qualified for National and World Championships. Coach German currently has certifications as a Level 1 coach for USA Track and Field, USA Triathlon, and USA Cycling associations.
